The Dead Zone is about Johnny Smith (Anthony Michael Hall), a science teacher from Bangor, Maine, who gets in a car accident. After being in a coma for 6 years, he wakes up with the power to see the past and future with just a single touch. The series is based off Stephen King's book of the same name. A movie was made in 1983 starring Christopher Walken.
