You've got red on you

(2008, December 25) Art Media: #2 pencils lined gel pen, and colored pencils

I bought a Shaun of the Dead DVD today to treat myself for Christmas. I love this movie and have seen it many times on HBO in the far past but am lucky to have bought it as it was on sale (PhP 125 which I think is around USD 2.25). I based my drawing on the back cover of the DVD (he has a very cool pose indeed, especially with that cricket rocket! ).

Shaun of the Dead is a really funny cult classic. It's amazing how they made a horror movie combined with comedy, drama, and even romance (well, not really). One of the tag lines is "A Romantic Comedy, with Zombies". Simon Pegg who plays Shaun and co-wrote this movie with Edgar Wright is absolutely brilliant!


EDIT:
Hehehe, just thought I'd change the title from 'Shaun of the Dead 1' to "You've got red on you." It's one of the lines from the movie. Around 2 or 3 people told Shaun that (since his red pen leaked while in his breast pocket).
