Been wanting to upload this for months now. It's been more than three months already but I still can't believe I met some of my childhood heroes! Earlier this year happened an event, the first of its kind, here in the Philippines: HENSHINCON. It's a Tokusatsu convention and the guests of honor were none other than Ryousuke Kaizu (Takeru/Michael Joe/Red Mask of Hikari Sentai Maskman) and Kei Shindachiya (Ken Hoshikawa/Five Blue of Chikyuu Sentai Fiveman).

Months in advance, I made the drawings and am so thrilled to have been able to give them to them. Both sentai actors are very down to earth and generous of their time. They say don't meet your heroes but these sentai actors, they're really awesome! I met them twice. The second time, I was still shaking! Goodness, I was starstruck seeing my childhood heroes. Knowing a bit of Japanese, I was able to speak to them directly (and man have I been memorizing some phrases for months). Thank goodness Ryousuke-san's wife Mrs. Inaba who's also Filipino and their friend Mr. Danny Torres were always helpful and ready to jump in to translate when I'm mumbling and such.
